Dope Snapback Hat Video - Sardines & PorknBeans | DarqMatter Design

I wanted to come to you guys and just ... I know in another post I asked you guys to look out for another post that I wanted to talk about. What you see here, this snapback I got on. It's called the Sardines & Pork n Beans. Being as I am an artist, this is a nod and an ode to Andy Warhol, his Campbell Pork N Beans artwork that he did. So, one, it's a nod to that. Also, this is for my go-go fans in DC. When I was coming up, man, Sardines & PorknBeans was a song by Junkyard, and that joint used to crank. I still crank, I still listen to it. Sardines & Pork n Beans, And Junkyard, if I'm not mistaken, when they first started, the instruments that they used, it wasn't like professional instruments. They might have got them, I don't know if they actually literally got them from a junkyard, but it was probably buckets and stuff like that.

So, basically the Sardines & Pork n Beans is for those who had to get it out the mud, man. If you coming from nothing, this is what it really means. If you're coming from nothing, or let's say you are where you're at right now, but you came from a place of where you had little, or maybe even nothing, and you got to where you at now. Or maybe you at a place right now where you don't have much, or you're coming from nothing and you're trying to get to that place. This is what this snapback embodies. This embodies hustle, grit, determination, motivation, positivity. Sardines & Pork n Beans, man. I'm going to tell you, man, for me sometimes I had to eat sardines and beans, man. Having faith, having blind faith to get to where you want to be in life.
If you're without right now, and you're going through some shit in your life, man, when I put this hat on, this just reminds me that I'm going to get it. Sometimes I refer to myself as a homeless millionaire, and I say that because it's true. I'm rich, I'm wealthy, I'm a millionaire. Figuratively, yes. In my bank account, it's coming. I work every day on this brand. For those of people who's going to support the brand, you're going to see me and this company come from where it's at right now, to where it's going to be 12 months from now, five years from now, 10 years from now, in a totally different place. Am I homeless right now? Yes. But that just goes to show you that if you've got ambition and drive, and you've got blind faith, and you got faith and you know where you're going ... Man, I've been knocked down in life, man, but I know that I won't be in the same place 12 months from now.

A lot of people might look at this and laugh and say, "Aha, look at him." But I tell you what, I'm not out here, I'm not robbing, I'm not stealing, I'm working on this because I know this is positive. And I know what I've learned right now, what I've learned and the almighty has told me is that you have to give value to people, serve people. And that's what I've learned is to serve people, and that's what DarqMatter Design is based on. That's my commitment to anybody who's supporting DarqMatter Design, is I'm serving the people. Not only with designs, but like I said, for those who are going through something, man, because I'm there right now. It's to uplift, and motivate, inspire, encourage. I've got so many things planned that we're going to do in the community; outreach, things with kids.

So, even if you don't purchase the Sardines With Pork And Beans, I hope that this post just gives you a little bit of encouragement, some value that if you're in a tough spot, if you're in a bad place in your life right now, believe in yourself. Pick yourself up. I believe in you. I'm rooting for you. I know you can do it. Even if you've got to maybe just rewind this video, save it, download it, come back to it every now and then and just look at it, and just know that you are somebody. You're special. Whatever position you're in right now is not permanent, it's not who you are. You think positive ... Look at them, you hear them birds? Thank you dear god for the birds I hear. Thank you dear god I'm not locked up in jail right now. If you're in a bad spot, just know that it has come to pass, that will pass. People used to tell me that and I didn't believe it, I really didn't understand it, but I'm starting to now.

So, I just want to give some hope and some encouragement to anybody out there who might be hearing this, and I just wanted to let you all know how the Sardines With Pork And Beans, what it means to me, and what the thought process went into it when I was designing this snapback. So, I hope you like it, I hope you dig it, and if you feel it in your gut, go ahead and purchase it. It'll be wrapped in a nice sturdy box where it'll hold its shape, and we'll get it out to you, all right?
